MTC Addresses Surprise Underground Tank, Anomalous Water Bill

Milford Town Council dealt with surprise circumstances, including an underground fuel tank and a resident’s anomalous water use charge, at its meeting.
- Selge Construction found a 2,500 gallon underground fuel tank under the parkway at Catherine and Shaffer streets while working on Milford’s waterline.
- Ryan Lareau of Commonwealth Engineers reported there is still some fluid inside the tank.
- Milford resident Dan Buell reported an unusual water meter reading of 13,680 gallons, resulting in a $325 bill.
