Rainfall Warning and Snow Forecast for Thanksgiving Day
A rainfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada for a significant portion of the province, affecting areas from Indian Head to north of La Ronge, but expected to stay east of Saskatoon.
The heaviest rainfall is anticipated in a localized area from north of Regina to Nipawan, with totals reaching 50 to 60 mm in warned areas and 30 to 40 mm in surrounding areas, including Regina.
Rain will transition to snow later in the evening, tapering off by Monday morning, accompanied by strong winds gusting 60 to 80 km/h, which may cause travel difficulties due to rapidly accumulating snow.
Travel over some locations could be difficult.
