A road rage incident led to a crash in Bennington County, resulting in charges for one person. Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 7 in Shaftsbury on Saturday at around 3:45 p.m.
According to the investigation, a vehicle passed another vehicle, prompting the driver of the passed vehicle, 20-year-old Anthony Gerry from Michigan, to speed up and strike the rear of the vehicle that passed him. The impact caused the vehicle to go off the road.
Gerry was charged with reckless endangerment and negligent operation. He is due to appear in Vermont Superior Court-Bennington Criminal Division in December.
