Oranje Impress with Convincing 4-0 Victory
Oranje impressed with a 4-0 victory over Finland in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam on Sunday.
The goals for the national side in the Group G World Cup qualifier were scored by Donyell Malen, Virgil van Dijk, Memphis Depay, and Cody Gakpo.
Manager Ronald Koeman will have been pleased with the performance, as the team has been under pressure for some dull performances lately.
Koeman made two changes to the side, bringing in Malen and Justin Kluivert, and Malen scored within eight minutes, playing a one-two with Depay.
Malen's effort found the way into the net, albeit with some questionable goalkeeping from Jesse Joronen.
The victory was expected, but the team's attractive football will have been a relief for Koeman.
