Gaza Peace Summit to be Co-Chaired by El-Sisi and Trump
Egypt's Presidency announced that Sharm El-Sheikh will host an international peace summit, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Trump.
Leaders from over 20 nations are expected to attend the summit, which aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip and advance peace building and stability in the Middle East.
The summit "aligns with President Trump's vision for peace in the region and his ongoing efforts to resolve conflicts around the world."
The announcement follows a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, ending a 735-day Israeli war against Palestinians.
The "Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit" will be held on October 13.
