The effects of Catholic Memorial football remaining in MIAA's Division 2 are visible and worsening.
As the 2025 high school football season's tournament time begins, the MIAA faces a familiar issue. Catholic Memorial, one of the state's most talented programs, will compete in Division 2 for the fifth straight season.
Catholic Memorial, rated fourth in the state by the MIAA Power Rankings, will enter the postseason as the top seed in Division 2.
- Lost back-to-back Division 1 Super Bowls to St. John's Prep in 2018 and 2019.
- Moved down to Division 2 after Covid realignment.
