Incident of Criminal Damage by Fire in Listowel
Listowel Garda Station is investigating an act of criminal damage by fire to a domestic residence in the town.
No injuries have been reported at this time. Gardaí at Listowel are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Call for Accountability
Sinn Fein councillor Tom Barry is calling for parents to be held accountable if their children engage in anti-social behaviour, particularly during Halloween.
Halloween should be a family-friendly occasion, but has instead been hijacked by some individuals using it as an excuse to set off fireworks and engage in other illegal activities.
Councillor Barry suggests a joint approach with Kerry County Council and An Garda Síochána is needed to tackle the issue.
