According to Leslie Chekan, a member of Climate Action Sarnia-Lambton, "It's a place where conversation can lead to actions and it is also a place where conversation can just lead to more conversation."
Everyone now is impacted by climate change one way or another
A Climate Café was held at Great Lakes Refill in Sarnia, attended by nearly a dozen people, to discuss concerns about climate and the environment on a personal level.

Allan McKeown noted that northern Canada is warming at three times the rate as the rest of the country, with farmers in Western Canada dealing with a multi-year drought, saying "It is just one thing after another."
