Many soccer fans were excited about the men's World Cup coming to the U.S. next year, but their enthusiasm was short-lived due to high ticket prices set by FIFA.
Mike Trucano, a self-described soccer obsessive from Virginia, was thrilled when he heard the news.
"We were just so excited that it was coming,"Trucano says. He has attended every World Cup since 1994, traveling to various countries including South Korea and South Africa.

"absolute madness".
