Coast Is Clear Plant Over 900 Trees In Just Three Years

A local environmental NGO has planted over 900 Maltese indigenous trees since 2022.

Coast is Clear shared the milestone, revealing that with the latest 33 trees planted, the organisation’s total now stands at 957 trees.

“Planting trees is the fun part, which happens between October and March,”

However, not all of the trees have survived. Vandalism, theft, and drought have reduced the total to 694 living trees.
