Los Angeles Lakers guard Marcus Smart discussed how he developed as a leader and how he's approached the team so far.
Smart was one of the best under-the-radar signings of the offseason, and the Los Angeles Lakers are hoping he's ready to go for the start of the 2025-26 season.
“Being the youngest of four boys. You gotta kinda speak up for yourself,” he said. “If you don’t, then you kinda get left in the dust.
Smart explained that he learned to use his voice growing up with older brothers, which helped him develop his leadership ability.
