Triple Medal Joy in Belize
The Bahamas four-member team returned from the Caribbean Under-23 Cycling Road Championships in Belize with three medals.
Kami Roach and Sienna Mackey picked up a silver and bronze respectively in the girls division of the time trials, behind the Cuban gold medalist.
Barron Musrove Jr also medaled in the boys’ time trials.
“This is a big milestone for me as this is my first time actually medaling in an international cycling race,”
“I mean I won races before but this is going to be in Bahamian history books for years.”
Musgrove Jr, son of former national team member Brron ‘Turbo’ Musgrove, found the event very competitive.
“The competition for me was very rough and painful for me as there was a lot of headwind and the road was very rocky,”
